Brendan Ginns comes from a family of builders. His father, Darren Ginns, owns SMG Construction and SMG Millwork.
Brendan spent 10 years at SMG as the systems integrator, running the industry's top construction platforms: Buildertrend, QuickBooks and Procore. They each did their job. But one question none of them could answer clearly was this: how do we get faster reporting on job profitability?
Brendan took that one personally. It was a root cause of why jobs weren't earning the profit they deserved. After months of research, he found the answer wasn't the schedule or the crew. It was a systematic change to project-based bank accounts.
